MA-600SF Screw-Feeder Online Microwave Moisture Gauge
The MA-600SF is specifically designed for measuring moisture in
materials that are moved by a screw feeder or spiral auger. Each
MA-600SF features custom-sized antenna horns that mount to the
sides of the screw-feeder at an angle of approximately 90°
to each other. This forms a microwave field in the shape of a
semi-circle such that the field diameter equates to the height
of the auger flight.
Combining special transmit-receive antenna's with clever
programming, MoistScan® MA-600SF
technology calibrates out erroneous effects caused by the screw
as it momentarily passes through the analysis zone giving
accurate, dependable, repeatable results.
Suited for flexible, tubular and mass-flow screw feeders and
independent of the screw diameter the MoistScan® MA-600
is the only in-process sensor on the market purpose-engineered
for this difficult application.
